Look like the practice you'd pay privately to visit.
A patient decides what your practice is worth before they've met anyone. Your sign, your website, the card in their hand — all of it is a price signal, and most practices are quietly signalling less than they charge.
Why it matters commercially
Branding helps patients recognise your practice.
Fees reflect treatment scope, clinical costs, time and service as well as presentation. A consistent identity can help patients understand a practice, but visual style alone does not establish clinical quality or justify a higher fee.
That's the argument for taking this seriously, and it's the only argument that matters to a practice owner. Everything below is in service of it.
- Patients judge private treatment prices against how the practice looks
- A tired brand makes your fees feel expensive; a good one makes them feel fair
- Consistency across sign, website and print is what reads as "established"
- It's the cheapest thing you'll do that affects every other thing you do
- A new logo won't fix an empty diary on its own
- Rebranding a practice with good local recognition can cost you patients

A typical palette
Replace with a real client palette. Showing the thinking — why these colours, for this practice, in this town — is far more persuasive than showing the logo alone.
What you get
Everything you'll actually need, in the files you'll actually be asked for.
The logo, properly built. Primary, stacked, and a single-colour version for the sign writer and the embroiderer. In vector, so it works at the size of a business card and the size of a shopfront.
Colours and type. Chosen for legibility on a phone as much as on a wall, with exact values for print, screen and signage so nothing drifts.
Guidelines your suppliers can follow. A short document your printer, sign maker and uniform supplier can be sent, so you stop being the one checking everything.
Everything owned by you. Agree source-file delivery, commissioned artwork rights and third-party font/image licences. Different assets can have different permitted uses.

Brochures are designed phone-first so they can be sent on WhatsApp within a minute of an enquiry — see lead management. Print is quoted at cost.
How it works
A staged process with timing agreed upfront.
Positioning, not moodboards
A 45-minute call about what you charge, who you want to attract, and which practices you're compared to. The brand follows from that, not from a Pinterest board.
Two directions
Two genuine routes, each shown in context — on a sign, on a phone, on a card. Not twelve logos on a white page, which is a way of making the client do the deciding.
Refine one
You pick a direction, we take it the rest of the way. One round of changes included; more if we've got it wrong.
Handover
Every file, the guidelines, and artwork sent directly to your sign maker and printer if you want us to deal with them.

Straight answers
Questions about branding.
We've been here 20 years. Should we rebrand?
Often not entirely. Local recognition is worth real money and throwing it away is expensive. More often the answer is an evolution — same name, same recognisable element, everything else brought up to date. We'll tell you honestly which one you need.
Do we own the logo?
Your agreement should state when rights to commissioned artwork transfer and which source files are supplied. Fonts, stock images and other licensed assets remain subject to their licence terms.
Can you deal with our sign maker?
Yes, and we'd rather. Supplying artwork in the right format to the right specification avoids the most common and most expensive mistake in a practice fit-out.
How many logo options do we get?
Two proper directions, shown in context. Twelve options on a white background is a way of avoiding a decision — we'd rather do the thinking and defend two.
We're opening a squat practice. What do we need?
Brand and website together, live six weeks before you open so you can build a waiting list. See practice design and squat practice launch.

Send us a photo of your sign.
Genuinely. Your fascia, your reception and your website, and we'll tell you what a patient reads from it before they've met you — and whether it's costing you at the price point you're aiming for.
