The kit decides the room, not the other way round.
A guide to comparing dental chairs, imaging, scanners and decontamination equipment. Check installation requirements with your chosen supplier before finalising the room layout. Ampli5 has no official equipment supplier partnerships.
A practical guide
What to ask an equipment supplier
A practical starting point for comparing providers, preparing questions and agreeing a clear scope of work.
| What to ask | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| What is the real lead time? | Chairs and imaging can run to months, and a delayed delivery pushes a whole fit-out. Ask for the current lead time in writing, not the brochure figure. |
| Who installs and commissions it? | Installation, commissioning and the critical examination on imaging are separate jobs. Confirm who does each and whether it is in the price. |
| What does servicing cost? | The purchase price is the smaller number over ten years. Ask for the annual service contract cost and what happens when a chair goes down on a Monday morning. |
| Does it fit the room, and the services? | Water, drainage, power and suction all have to be in the right place. This is why equipment is chosen before the fit-out is drawn, not after. |
| What are the finance terms? | Most practices lease rather than buy. Compare the total cost over the term, not the monthly figure. |
| Will it integrate with the software? | Imaging that will not talk to your practice management system creates a daily annoyance you cannot undo. |
What to compare
Choosing a provider in this area.

What we add
Where our side of it fits.
Photography that shows the kit
New equipment is a marketing asset. We photograph it properly and it goes into the website, the ads and the treatment pages.
Treatment pages that justify it
A CBCT scanner only pays for itself if patients know you have one and what it means for them. That is a page, not a line in a brochure.
Launch campaigns
A new scanner or a new chair is a reason to contact your patient list. We build the campaign around it.

Straight answers
Common questions.
When should we choose equipment?
Before the fit-out design is finalised, and earlier than most people expect. Services, cabinetry and shielding are all built around specific models, and changing your mind afterwards means changing the drawings.
Do you take commission from suppliers?
Details awaiting verification.
Can you recommend a supplier?
Compare suppliers directly using recent installations, support arrangements, servicing costs and references. The purchase decision and contract are yours.
