Google Ads for dentists
Be there at the exact moment they decide.
Nobody searches "dental implants near me" for fun. Google is the only channel where the patient has already decided they want treatment — you're simply choosing whether they find you or the practice down the road.
Before & after
What changed when the account was rebuilt.
Campaign types
What we actually run, and what each one looks like.
Five campaign types, each doing a different job. Most dental accounts we inherit are running one of them badly and calling it a strategy.
The detail that matters
Why one dental search ad costs half what another does.
The price in the ad. Putting "from £0,—" in the headline loses you clicks — and that's the point. The people who click already know roughly what it costs, so your cost per click rises slightly and your cost per patient falls a long way.
Negative search terms. Dental accounts leak money on "dental nurse jobs", "NHS dentist taking patients", "dental implants course". Most inherited accounts have fewer than twenty negatives. Ours run to hundreds.
The campaign page. Ads pointed at a homepage convert about a third as well as ads pointed at a page about the treatment they searched for.
Your own name. Competitors bid on your practice name. If you don't, you pay nothing — and they get the patient who was specifically looking for you.
Hours and location. Ads running at 2am for a practice that opens at 8 produce enquiries nobody rings back. We schedule to when your team can actually answer.
Conversion tracking that counts patients. If the account improves towards form fills it will find you cheap form fills. Point it at booked appointments and it finds those instead.
Every month
What actually gets done.
Search terms reviewed
Every phrase that triggered an ad, read by a person. Waste gets negatived, winners get their own ad group.
Bids and budgets
Money moved towards the treatments and towns producing accepted cases, not just cheap clicks.
New ad copy tested
Headlines, offers and price framing tested against each other rather than written once and left.
Campaign page changes
The page gets the same attention as the ad — usually where the bigger gain is hiding.
Calls listened to
Recordings reviewed with your team, so we improve on what happened after the click.
One-page report
Spend, enquiries, booked, attended, accepted, cost per patient. Not times your advert was shown.

Straight answers
Questions about Google Ads.
What's the minimum I should spend?
£750 a month for a single practice. Below that there isn't enough data to learn from and you'll spend three months guessing. For implants specifically, £1,—–£1,500 is a more realistic starting point.
We tried Google Ads and got rubbish enquiries.
Almost always one of three things: no negative search terms so you were showing for job searches and courses, no price on the page so everyone enquired just to find out, or the ads pointed at a homepage. All three are fixable in the first fortnight.
Who owns the account?
You do. We work inside your Google Ads account, not a shared agency one. If we part ways you keep the account, the history and the conversion data — which is worth more than most practices realise.
Do you mark up the ad spend?
No. Your card, your account, your money going straight to Google. Our fee is separate and published above.
Should I run Performance Max?
Sometimes, once conversion tracking is solid and there's enough data. It's not where we'd start a dental account, and we'd never run it as the whole thing — it's very good at spending money on placements you can't see.
Google or Meta?
Depends on the treatment. Implants lean Google, aligners lean Meta, and most practices end up running both. Here's the full comparison →
